Job Description:

Abinitio developer/engineer with 8+ years of experience and strong design and development skills using Abinitio. Candidate will work collaboratively on Agile Scrum teams, interacting with multiple technologies and business areas to design, develop, and deliver applications powered with Abinitio. Candidate will create detailed technical specifications, develop application and system code, participate in code reviews and module testing, and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

Job Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the deliverables of the product team from conception to delivery from the Developer standpoint.
Has impeccable communication skills – act as a liaison between the Dev team and the Business/stakeholders as and when needed.
Partner with PO, PM, SM, SA and Leadership and be a visionary for the product.
Go-to person for any issues/escalations (In addition to the SA). Owns responsibility of releases, production issues and ensures closures – is transparent and communicates it with the stakeholders.
Also, responsible for ensuring the product team adheres to high quality enterprise standards by ensuring built-in security, coding standards and patterns.
Accountable for the quality of delivery by performing code reviews and inculcate test driven mindset etc.
Customer focused and Design thinking (In conjunction with the SA)
Advocate and build best practices and processes in the team like – TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Documentations, Lean Design etc.
Develop DevSecOps culture, introduce stability and ensure smooth handover between Dev and Ops.
Be a developer and proactively identify the gaps, the lagging areas, optimize the flow and bring efficiency in the team.
This person will create an environment of trust while building, motivating and keeping enthusiasm within the team.
Analyze and understand existing Architecture and Data Warehouse system.
Design and develop new functionalities w.r.t business requirements
Should possess strong technical skills in complex Abinitio components like PDL, xml processing, webservices, Json etc.
Ability to solve problems in timely and structured manner with strong analytical approach and emphasize on fast recovery/fast roll-back and fast fix-forward capabilities.

Primary Skills:

Abinitio, Unix, Oracle DB

Experience:

Minimum 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Abinitio, unix and Oracle DB
Should have experience in complex Abinitio components.
Should have good understanding on SDLC.
Resource should have hands-on development experience with various Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, join, Gather, XML, JSON, Reformat, Fuse, Lookup, etc.
Good knowledge in developing UNIX scripts, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
Ability to operate and learn in a rapidly changing, high-visibility environment.
Good to have experience with Agile and Scrum processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with other team members (immediate team as well as cross-functional teams)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours.
Ability to work independently and mentor team members whenever required.

Compensation offered for this role is $60,100.00-$102,625.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
