Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in our customer acquisition process forming the key link between marketing, lead generation, and our sales function.
  • Account Mapping
    • You will research, source, and develop prospect accounts from initial inquiry, qualification, and product introductions.
    • We have a number of accounts that need assistance mapping out the org chart. Our ideal ADM will assist in completing these tasks
  • Help the Strategic Accounts team book a minimum of 30 meetings within prospective accounts that will convert into the potential pipeline for Zipline
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaigns and messaging
  • Creation of outbound cadences and strategies in addition to other lead generation tasks
  • qualify prospects using cold email, cold calling, social selling, and networking techniques
  • Maintain and foster relationships within prospect accounts keeping Zipline top of mind when a potential evaluation arises.
  • Be a team player. Willing to collaborate with the Zipline team to determine how we can win together.

Must-haves

  • Ability to take a personalized account-based approach, all focused on our prospective customer’s industry-specific needs. Understand how to find out a company’s high-level objectives and have the ability to map it back to how we can help them achieve their goals.
  • A self-motivated, self-starter ADM who can complement this with a consultative approach to drive our revenue growth objectives via a combination of inside sales, qualification, and prospecting responsibilities.
  • Research and understand the needs and expectations of prospective clients to help inform lead generation activities.
  • Qualify all leads and prospects driven by marketing campaigns and referrals.
  • Provide marketing support to build and facilitate personalized outbound campaigns and demand generation to source new opportunities and nurture existing relationships
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Mac Book Pro/Air, Gmail & G-Suite Products, Microsoft Office, Basecamp, Slack
  • Ability to effectively communicate to, present to, influence, or befriend all levels within an organization.
  • Outstanding listening and writing skills, and a keen ability to translate complex concepts into simple, persuasive language.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills to build relationships across the company with both our as well as our customers.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and dedicated.

More about you:

  • 4 years of experience in business dev/sales/ account management in a B2B client-facing position.
  • Retail industry experience preferred but not needed
  • Highly organized and consultative with savvy business acumen.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can give an excellent product demo and write an eloquent e-mail.
  • Empathy with a knack for understanding what a prospect really needs and why they need it.

How do we work? Remotely. We have been 100% remote since the company was founded and we have it down to a science – – a people science. We huddle as a team weekly and as a company 3 times a week. On Fridays, we come together to learn from each other. One week it might be about opossum rescue. Another week it might be an update on our product roadmap or the results of our customer satisfaction survey. We are all masters of Zoom and love the freedom of working from home – – or vans – – or sailboats.

We haven’t even gotten to our customers! Think about the best retail brands, from your favorite tennis shoes to yoga pants. They’re customers. And, in addition to dozens of specialty retailers, this year we added grocery store, pharmacy, and convenience store brands.
