Accountant & Payroll Coordinator

100% Remote, Full-Time

Location: US – Remote

100% remote position. Must be available primarily during US business hours with some evening and weekend availability, and speak fluent English. The successful candidate must be exceptionally detail-oriented, technically savvy and a self-starter who can work independently!

LARVOL provides data and software solutions to support the competitive intelligence needs of the pharmaceutical and life science industries. Since 2004, we have been providing comprehensive data & information analysis for the most prominent pharmaceutical companies in the world and continue to expand. We are looking for a full-time Accountant & Payroll Coordinator who would be responsible for supporting our Controller for LARVOL!

Responsibilities:

• Support and participate in the financial close process which includes journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Payroll processing.
• Customer invoicing.
• Support high volume of accounts payable transactions.
• Calculate monthly sales commissions.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems.
• Process and procedure improvement.
• Recording of bank transactions, both nationally and internationally.
• Ad hoc projects.

Required Skills, Qualifications, Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting.
• 2+ years of QuickBooks desktop.
• Proven, solid software skills and exposure to automated accounting systems.
• Strong Excel skills. Proficiency in additional MS Office Suite required (we are PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook heavy).

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and primarily during US business hours required.
• Must own a smartphone, computer, and have a reliable internet connection.

Compensation: Competitive with a potential annual bonus of up to 25%. Our compensation package does not include health insurance benefits at this time.
