Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis

This role will lead strategy development for product drops across all Connected Services products while also leading marketing activity for GM’s Infotainment products. The position will be expected to oversee development and production of leading-edge software narratives to create anticipation, hype, and adoption across the Connected Vehicle portfolio. Areas of product focus will include GM-owned and 3rd-party partners (streaming audio, streaming video, voice assistant, etc).

A successful candidate will have a passion for in-vehicle & connected technologies, an interest in leading-edge customer engagement strategies, an ability to synthesize and simpAssislify customer value propositions and messaging, a data-driven approach, and a desire to bring new thinking to existing marketing approaches. This position will report to the Connected Vehicle Brand Marketing Manager and interface heavily with different areas of the organization including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Marketing support for existing and new Connected Vehicle products
  • Strategy development for semi-annual Product Drops
  • Partner with brand marketing, CRM, sales, CX, UX, product, and software teams
  • Lead liaison with Creative & Media Agencies for development of new content, reviews of existing content & media strategies
  • Support product fundamentals such as naming, positioning, messaging, guidelines, and other foundational materials for existing, enhanced, and new products
  • Collaborate and develop trackable measurement plans, tied to business objectives, for all marketing activity
  • Develop and execute a measurement and testing framework that identifies the most impactful imagery, language, and format for Connected Vehicle content
  • Be a trusted subject matter expert for Connected Vehicle offerings
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across integrated channel communication plans, including content development, asset creation, media investment, and channel strategy
  • Support Global integration for connectivity products as they expand

Educational Requirements:

  • Four-Year Accredited College Degree
  • Advanced/Master’s degree in a marketing or business-related field (preferred but not required)

Additional Requirements / Comments:

  • 5+ years of brand marketing experience
  • Areas of expertise:
    • Proven ability to understand and organize product detail in a complex and regularly changing landscape
    • Experience in marketing a technology brand and associated products
    • Integrated brand campaigns including launch experience
    • Cross-functional experience, working collaboratively across a wide set of teams
    • Advertising content development and review
    • Media planning and execution
    • Familiarity with digital channels
    • Go-to-market readiness for launch initiatives

COMPENSATION : The median level of salary compensation for this role is $126,751.

BONUS POTENTIAL : An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
