Combining editorial excellence with commercial knowhow, the branded content journalist will be responsible for delivering outstanding campaigns for clients of The Drum Studios in the Asia-Pacific region. From shaping briefs to sharpening features, leading lively debates to fronting films, they will be a versatile content producer with a proven track record of delivering editorial excellence across a mix of media. This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Refining client briefs to ensure campaign objectives are well-defined
  • Workshopping with clients to identify most appropriate editorial or creative response
  • Writing and editing articles and producing content as required
  • Devising talking points for live panels, debates and interviews
  • Working with local freelancers to produce projects
  • Ensuring commercial content produced by The Drum meets high standards
  • Supporting commercial colleagues on pitches and briefs as required
  • Moderating panels and interviews live and pre-recorded on video as required
  • Supporting recruitment of speakers, panelists and interviewees

Requirements

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills
  • A track record of planning and delivering high quality content campaigns in journalism or advertising
  • Experience within a media brand, agency or similar organization
  • Strong knowledge of the media, marketing and advertising industries
  • Confident moderating debates and recorded interviews
