You will have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact from day one by increasing all outbound lead generation for our Flockjay Partnerships team. You will be responsible for generating new business pipelines in mid-size / large enterprises, working closely with seasoned Partnership Managers. This person will also help Flockjay develop the company’s sales and success approach and be eager to progress in a fast growing organization.
We will take a personal interest in your development, and provide you the tools and training to launch your tech career, even if it’s in the early stages, or if you’re looking to transition from another industry. Your success in this role is defined by strong communication skills, a coachable mindset, problem-solving ability, and deep empathy for our students and customers. You’ll work closely with other team leads on strategic sales initiatives that affect the company.
What You’ll Do
Lead Generation & Growth: focus on increasing volume and quality of Outbound leads passed to Partnership Managers to fuel the growth and awareness of Flockjay
Understand a potential partner’s business drivers, challenges, pain points
Create an amazing first impression to our prospects and customers that is in line with Flockjay’s values
Conduct first contact calls with senior executives within prospected and qualified accounts
Collaborate with our experienced Partnership Managers to build a highly engaged pipeline of opportunities and maximize close rates
Be open to coaching, training, and career development
What You’ll Bring
1-3 years of outbound sales experience
An ambitious, creative, goal-oriented and customer-focused mindset
Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, or other modern tech stack tools
Comfortable with numbers, analyzing data, and delivering insights
Ability to synthesize results, draw conclusions, and convert them into business opportunities
Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential
Interest in technology trends and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
Demonstrated experience with problem solving, presenting ideas and decision making skills
Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing team environment
