One of the key initiatives to frontline this growth is Chargebee Academy, a learning hub and community initiative, which is aimed at creating a tribe of subscription operators. Here’s a quick rundown of this role.
Why you’re needed here
You will be part of Chargebee’s marketing team and specifically, part of the team that builds Chargebee Academy, a learning platform for subscription operators across the globe. This will be a collection of resources to guide not only Chargebee’s customers but also professionals from other subscription businesses. This initiative needs dab hands to construct the best-on-the-internet tutorials and video lessons—about everything subscription management, recurring billing, and revenue operations.

What you will work on here
The content strategist will primarily be responsible for defining the content framework, building a content calendar, creating courses from scratch so there is enough content in the pipeline and exploring new content formats for the longer term.
As a content strategist, you will help Chargebee create a billion subscription operators in the next 5 years. You will put in place a content structure for Chargebee Academy so it can become the next big demand generation engine for Chargebee.
In a nutshell, here are your responsibilities:
Plan:Define how content needs to be organized and the formats that are required to make Chargebee Academy a high-ranking link in the SERP.
Create: Build Chargebee Academy. You are the product manager for Academy. Work through the different stages of video lessons, from ideation and scripting to production, and work with the marketer to help launch the Academy.
Scale:Build tiers of content and make Chargebee Academy the go-to-place for everything related to a subscription business. Work with the full-stack marketer to help scale Academy in a phased manner.
Research:Identify the learning needs of customers and other subscription professionals. Talk to customers and prospects to understand how they’ve been able to scale (or not). You’ll drive research initiatives to collect valuable nuggets of wisdom from the market to fuel new content.
As a content strategist, you’ll help decide what the Academy needs and why it needs it. You’ll chalk out the content that is needed to take these ideas to completion.
