What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

Square’s Demand Generation team is tasked with driving new Seller acquisition across Square’s entire product ecosystem. Our campaigns run on an evergreen basis across various channels (Social, Display, Search, etc), and are held to lead generation and acquisition goals. We leverage always-on creative testing as a key optimization tactic in all our campaigns and channels. This role sits on our dedicated team of Creative Strategists within the Demand Generation team, which leads creative testing strategy, asset delivery, reporting, and everything in between for performance marketing at Square.

We are looking for a strong performance marketer with a passion for creative testing to help us continue expanding our always-on testing to US-ES and Paid Lead Gen.

As a creative strategist on the Demand Generation team, you will coordinate creative test plans, write briefs, asset production and delivery. Your day to day will include communication and alignment with multiple teams inclusive of: other creative strategists, video producers, creative project managers, and creative team members.

You will collaborate with your lead on the quarterly test objectives for our channels and audiences, and translate them into a creative test roadmap on a quarterly basis. You will manage creative brief writing for everything on the creative roadmap. Creative tests will be focused on Social and Display, but will also include Direct Mail and one off requests for other channels.

We are looking for someone who can come work within the processes we’ve been working in and help us improve upon them so that they can scale even further. Your communication and attention to detail are your greatest assets as you manage a high volume of work. You can manage creative briefing and production timelines for ten hardware and software products across multiple languages.

You Will:

  • Manage the creative test plans for most of Square’s products across all channels
  • Own creative projects from brief writing, kick off with internal and external creative partners, production, and delivery
  • Ensure brief submission and creative review timelines are met so that creative will be delivered
  • Analyze creative performance data on a monthly basis
  • Come up with creative test ideas based on results and product priorities
  • Review and approve creative deliverables
  • Juggle a large quantity of projects, often with overlapping importance and urgency

You Have:

  • 2+ years of professional experience, advanced degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven working experience managing the creation and development of performance marketing creative deliverables, especially Display banners
  • Performance marketing experience
  • Skill at managing details of ever-increasing complexity and scale
  • Comfort in an entrepreneurial environment where ambiguity and change are common
