Job description & responsibilities:

As our CFO, you are part of the management team and drive the direction and success of RaiseNow in using your knowledge and understanding of the financial position of RaiseNow. You are responsible for all finance activities of three companies in Switzerland (AG) and Germany (GmbH) plus multiple shareholdings. You work hands-on together with your team of three employees to get the results needed. We want you to challenge and support strategic decisions by considering costs, revenue, and liquidity risks (in collaboration with the CEO and COO and the management team).

You know your business inside out. Books and records of the company, financial reporting, and statutory compliance are in your blood.

  • Strategic financial planning: Set up a business plan & budget, supporting the growth of the company by allocating funds most effectively
  • Accounting & Taxation: Own and prepare financial audits, the company’s financial statements and manage all stakeholders incl third parties involved in the process (e.g., tax advisors) – Corporate housekeeping
  • Cash flow management: Set up a cash flow model and ensure the company’s liquidity at any time
  • Investor management & reporting: Be responsible for reporting to our investors and budget alignment as well as reporting vs. set budgets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Fundraising: Own future fundraising processes end-to-end, from identifying relevant investors to due diligence
  • Financial operations: Assess, improve, and automate the Finance department’s operations and cross-functional processes related to the Finance team.
  • Establish and engage relationships with consultants, insurances, banks, and other third parties such as investors and auditors.
  • Develop a strategy for future M&As and lead the process if needed
  • Leading a team of 3 members in your team


  • Further Education / Bachelor / Master degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Proven track record of experience in Finance, Analytics, Management
  • Affinity for tech and experience with technical, digital environments
  • Familiar with Swiss and German Accounting / Finance Standards
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics
  • Start-Up / Financing experience
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
