The Role: 

ForgeRock is looking for a Director of Integration Engineering for its Trust Network Technology Partnerships (TNTP). The Partnership Program is a dynamic ecosystem of 150+ partners in multiple technology segments augmenting ForgeRock’s identity and access management products to complete customer needs and present breadth and depth to the industry. Our partners integrate with the ForgeRock platform to deliver authentication, identity proofing, fraud/risk mitigation and behavioral biometrics – specialized technology solutions that can seal a sale and prevent churn. You will experience providing technical support to a range of clients and resolving queries quickly whilst working collaboratively with teams across the world.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Direct interaction with ForgeRock partners and mutual customers helping them identify and resolve technical issues with on prem and cloud integrations with FR products.
  • Managing a team of 2-4 integration engineers
  • Internal reproduction of the customer problem to enable the development and testing of a resolution.
  • Developing resolutions to customers problems, through use of rational troubleshooting process, liaising with Sustaining and Engineering to ensure they are integrated into the ForgeRock products.
  • Participation in escalation calls to brief customer management on support cases and assist in the creation of action plans aiming to solve customer issues.
  • Working with the knowledge base team to help identify common issues so that they can be included in the knowledge base.
  • The individual will be expected to work with engineering to facilitate information transfer for new product introductions.
  • Acting as communication and liaison between Support, Sustaining and Engineering to facilitate prioritization and resolution of customer issues.
  • Work with and develop other members of the Technical Support team.

If you find yourself checking off most of the below, this could be the position for you!

  • B.S. degree in an Engineering or Science Discipline.
  • Experience managing a technical engineering team
  • 6 + years post-bachelor degree experience in technical support role or developer role assisting enterprise customers or partners with on-prem or cloud integrations.
  • Excellent communication; verbal, written and listening and understanding skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Professional and friendly customer service skills
  • Technical knowledge of all of the following:
    • Identity and Access Management
    • Open ID Connect
    • SAML
    • OAuth
    • Google Cloud Platform
    • JavaScript
    • Groovy
    • LDAP
    • Java
  • Solid understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Internet. 
  • Strong experience working on Windows, Mac & Linux, with mixed skills around administration and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork skills
