The Wally Shop is looking for a Director of Brand Partnerships who will lead and manage all Retail Brand Partnerships. This would include: developing a brand partnership strategy, developing and managing external retail partnerships, overseeing internal retail operations, driving key retail metrics.
The Director of Brand Partnerships will be tasked with making sure The Wally Shop has and is implementing a clear, innovative brand partnership strategy that will lead to continued growth. This encompasses coordination with operations, marketing and external partners. Applicants should accordingly have strong communication, analytic, presentation and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone with a go-getter attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
Reporting to the Founder, the Director of Brand Partnerships will lead all Retail Business Development, including (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
1. Creating and driving an overall retail partnership strategy
2. Managing existing and sourcing new retail partners
3. Hiring and training Retail team members
4. Managing and implementing key retail initiatives to drive The Wally Shop’s goals
5. Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals for the organization
As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must have a passion for entrepreneurship and a strong interest in consumer brands. Additional requirements are:
