We are looking for a leader to grow Medical Operations at Color, which is a new, dynamic, and highly strategic team that will enable Color to launch new clinical offerings at scale.
The Head of Medical Operations will oversee the management of Color’s Strategic Clinical Partnerships network, and ensure that Color’s quality standards are upheld quality with a Clinical Quality team. This is a full-time employment position.
How You'll Contribute:
Oversee and grow the Medical Operations team which is responsible for clinical readiness of Color’s network of strategic clinical partners across telehealth, pharmacy, and field clinics
Establish and maintain strong relationships with multiple clinical staffing vendors to ensure high quality performance across Color’s clinical programs
Own the goals, OKRs, and quality / capacity targets for our network of clinical partners (which includes Color Medical)
Develop long-term relationships with current and new partners, identifying unique partnership opportunities for Color’s new clinical pathways
Operationalize the strategic rollout of Color’s new clinical offerings, partnering closely with the Go-to-Market, Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and Product teams
Make strategic and data-driven decisions about allocating staffing across the clinical partner network (which includes Color Medical) depending on volume and expertise, and be responsible for the seamless implementation of these shifts
Act as Color’s champion of clinical quality for Color’s clinical vendors, ensuring that clinical vendors are upheld to standards, regularly audited, and adequately trained to ensure clinicians are operating at an optimal level and level of patient care is high
Collaborate with Color’s Go-to-Market, Medical Affairs, Product, and Operations teams on scoping out and operationalizing new clinical offering opportunities and / or geographic expansions, designing prioritized roadmaps, upholding quality assurance, and providing expertise on clinical partner network capabilities
Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/clinician safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, or other Primary Care specialty preferred (such as Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine), with current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction
Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from accredited institution with five or more years of clinical experience
10+ years of healthcare leadership experience managing multiple departments and service lines, with experience in partnerships, continuous improvement, and quality assurance
Knowledge and understanding of how to develop strong trust-based partner relationships with clinical vendors – balancing confidence, modesty, and tact at senior levels
Strong organization and team management, with an attention to detail and the ability to keep track of both the high-level progress and the small details
Comfort with ambiguity: you are comfortable working in a high growth, constantly changing environment, and have a proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about healthcare and technology; you’re excited to play a role in building out the future of healthcare

Collaborate with existing Quality & Training team on needs for additional audits and trainings for clinical vendor network
