Job Description

Guidance seeks a Director of Partner and Channel Marketing who will be the voice of Guidance to our growing partner ecosystem.  You will create and execute a partner development strategy to enhance the business relationships between Guidance and its channel partners, including strategic platform partners like Magento, Optimizely, Shopify Plus and BigCommerce. Partners will work closely with you as Guidance’s primary point of contact, and you will collaborate with internal teams (i.e., CX, project management and development) to focus on driving revenue, retention, and relevancy for both Guidance and its partners.

This role reports to our CIO/Head of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and materials for partner enablement and co-marketing activities in support of the sales strategy
  • Manage and lead all aspects of marketing plans and partner-facing events
  • Create and execute quarterly marketing plans with primary platform partners to generate demand and meet sales pipeline objectives
  • Develop content for partner marketing opportunities including webinars, blog posts, social media, and PR
  • Create and manage content to support partner programs
  • Manage, track and report on opportunities generated by platform partners
  • Be the single point of contact for all internal customers representing the needs and opportunities for communicating to and engaging with partners
  • Track and report progress on KPIs and ROI metrics, including performance of partner marketing programs
  • Update and maintain internal client and partner lists
  • Register all partner leads within relevant partner portals
  • Maintain and advance partner certification requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in partner marketing, demand generation or account-based marketing role within the B2B industry
  • Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills
  • Creativity to produce exciting and interesting content
  • Extensive experience working on and delivering messages through a variety of platforms
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize projects while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven approach to continuously measure and evaluate impact and value, and a desire to iterate programs as they grow
  • Occasional travel required
