Meta’s Global Risk Operations (GRO) organization advocates for and protects every person, community, and business from risk on our platforms, across the world.Within GRO, the Risk Prevention team is responsible for the end-to-end management of operational workflows designed to identify, reduce, and prevent integrity risk for Meta. This requires highly specialized and agile enforcement, based on nuanced policy application inclusive of its new and dynamic changes, situational awareness, and regional and language expertise. We identify macro trends/risks that need to be addressed holistically, managing case-based work that requires real-time discussions working with cross functional policy partners to make key decisions on overturning enforcement decisions. We are a global team, organized regionally with support from our specialized functional teams for Legal & Regulatory, Business and Community, and Programs.The Risk Prevention Program & Process team develops and manages programs and processes for operational workflows in RP and drives accountability and process improvements throughout RP’s work. We do this by driving strategy, planning, and innovation around processes and tooling for RP workflows. We oversee intake of urgent launches for immature workflows; drives our workforce strategy and graduation of work across FTE teams within GRO and our vendor partners.We’re looking for an inclusive leader with deep domain expertise in operational excellence, customer experience, risk mitigation, thought leadership and talent development, who can provide vision and strategy and oversee execution. You will effectively influence strategic investments and roadmaps to drive innovation and improve our community experience with specific focus on understanding community trends and challenges. Director, Programs & Process Risk Prevention Responsibilities:

  • Drive a horizontal programmatic function to build and improve programs to better identify and mitigate risk within GRO as well as drive a unified strategy and priorities across the org in these areas of investment
  • Develop and manage programs and processes for RP’s workflows, to drive accountability and process improvements
  • Program and process leadership for our operations to develop, advocate for and execute strategic initiatives
  • Partner with leaders in Risk Prevention, Risk Management & Intelligence and Operational Enablement to influence cross-functional strategic investments
  • Provide strong and visionary leadership to your teams, enhance and develop a strong team culture of trust and commitment to advocate for and protect every person, community, and business from risk, defining north star for world class operations
  • Build a great team through partnering with global leaders, HR, L&D & Recruiting to develop and execute on a holistic people strategy to attract, retain and develop top talent and role model leadership best practices and building internal community

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Significant experience working in and with global communities or businesses in the Operations domain in particular, managing operations in customer service, compliance, risk management, business process outsourcing
  • Proven and inclusive people management capabilities and stakeholder management including managing leaders and remote teams across multiple geographically diverse sites
  • Proven track record of attracting, scaling and developing inclusive teams
  • Strategic thinker with proven track record of transforming operations through innovation and improvement
  • Executive presence and a track record of influencing and partnering with global cross-functional leaders as an advocate for Meta community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree or higher
