Why it matters: The Director will manage a team of tech recruiters and associates and lead hiring processes for Axios Media’s product, design and technology teams, building brand recognition, and attracting top talent. You will support the People Operations team in translating business needs into hiring decisions and plan for future growth.

  • 8+ years of experience with full life cycle recruitment in technical areas
  • Experience managing and building a team of technical recruiters
  • Passion for and experience in people management and mentorship: desire to motivate, support and lead a team of exceptional peoplexa0
  • Deep understanding of recruiting best practices, processes and dataxa0
  • Experience at high-growth, dynamic organizations (preferably technology companies)xa0
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and proactive attitude
  • Passion for building diverse teams, recognizing the collective power of teams whose members bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to the table
  • Strong sense of client management/ client-services approachxa0
