About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for an Engineer II to join our growing Production Systems team. As an Engineer II, you will be focused on maintaining and supporting staff on our internal issue/project tracking system (JIRA).  The candidate will play a pivotal role in supplying metrics relative project execution and the continuous optimization of internal processes/workflows.  If you are interested in working on a high-performing team with interesting problems to solve, this is the job for you!

 

You Will (Responsibilities):

  • Take ownership and accountability of deliverables focused on cost optimization and improving operational efficiencies
  • Provide metric extraction, reporting, and workflow management within issue tracking platform (JIRA)
  • Aid in project management and execution of technologically focused initiatives
  • Maintain and organize internal documentation within internal content management system
  • Have a familiarity with support concepts and management of server and network workloads
  • Develop your technical skills relative to production infrastructure
  • Participate and respond to service issues in a timely manner based upon severity and or business impact

 

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of experience in Atlassian, Jira workflows, reporting and analytics
  • Conceptual understanding of the SDLC and Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
  • Process governance experience and or strong automation workflow knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • 2-3 business related trips per year for group meetings
  • Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones.
  • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions.
  • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
  • Experience with VMware, Windows, and Linux OS architectures is a plus.
  • Experience with threat intelligence is a plus.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in Colorado the salary range is $100,000 – $160,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
