In the role you will work directly alongside the CEO, providing strategic and tactical support in all aspects of finance from investment and funding strategy through to management accounts.

The role will be hands-on from day one, so you will have a chance to understand the company from the ground up before building the accounting and finance team.

We are looking for a high powered individual who knows their craft, is flexible and has the ambition and ability to grow into the company’s most senior finance figure.

The responsibilities of the role include: 

• Developing financial strategy to optimise upskillable’s financial performance and strategic position.
• Preparing & managing chart of accounts
• Preparing & managing management reports
• Carrying out internal audits
• Developing financial policies and controls
• Evaluating project pricing and profit and loss
• Developing company legal & tax structure
• Setting up and managing Quickbooks or Zoho Books
• Willing to carry out bookkeeping
• Investment strategy and funding advice

To be successful in the role you will need to be: 

• Minimum 5 years experience working in Finance / Accountant roles as either a Manager at a Blue chip company or consultant for a Big 5 Accountancy / Consultancy
• Experienced working in Saudi or GCC, therefore familiar with local accounting standards
• Experienced in the Tech Industry
• Flexible and confident to take on more responsibility as required in growing company
• Strong technical and commercial accountant
• Qualified Accountant with relevant degree
• Able to work remotely
