About the Front-End Engineer Position

Front-End Engineer Responsibilities

  • Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
  • Work together with back-end engineers and web designers to improve usability
  • Collect feedback from users and build solutions based on this data
  • Assist back-end engineers with coding and troubleshooting

Front-End Engineer Qualifications

  • Stairwell doesn’t believe a college degree is a requirement for any role. We embrace all people, who are able to perform at the highest levels of their field, regardless of how they obtained their education.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Software Development with Javascript and Javascript frameworks
  • Proficient in writing and debugging UI/UX code for the Chrome browser and with UI/UX testing environments (such as WebDriver)
  • Curiosity in understanding the security space and how cutting edge technologies can shape it

Additional Information (Colorado only*) Minimum Salary of $128,000 – $140,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
