What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

This is a remote position, if you’re not in the assigned location that isn’t an issue.
We are looking for a Global Payroll Manager to coordinate, help scale and drive efficiency across Payroll as Rock grows and hires globally.
The role:
  • Lead, build, and set-up payroll processes for new operations and offices;  
  • Establish and build strong strategic partnerships with key HR partners;
  • Implement required controls, metrics and quality measurement indicators;
  • Act as the primary point of contact and owner of the Payroll operations globally;  
  • Manage, control and process the payroll cycle end to end, including admissions and terminations for all countries (Brazil, US, Canada and Mexico);
  • Ensure accurate & timely compliance with regulatory deadlines (payroll taxes);
  • Interact with local payroll providers in order to enhance all processes ensuring the best experience for Rockers;
  • Manage the employee’s file (vacation, sick leaves, salary changes, etc.);
  • Ensure that all payroll related issues, question and concerns are resolved;
  • Participate and work on special projects with different teams.
You will need:
  • Solid experience as Payroll Manager or similar leadership position;
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices;
  • Experience in Payroll/HCM implementation/system integrations;
  • Successful track record in building and scaling Payroll teams to support multiple countries;
  • Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations;
  • Proficient in Google apps and good knowledge of relevant payroll software and databases;
  • Fluent Portuguese and English skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree.
