Graphic Designer / Social Media Manager – The Carbon Offset Company

We are a young and fast growing company on a mission to plant hundreds of millions of trees. We help companies and individuals offset their carbon footprint. Our main focus is B2B and working with companies to incorporate tree planting into their business model where they plant a tree(s) for each product or service they provide.

This role will be responsible for creating designs, graphics, social media posts etc. for both our company pages but also for our customers. Some of the responsibilities include:

Creation of digital / social media assets we provide our customers (they partner with us to plant trees and a key part of the value we provide them is social media / digital assets to promote the impact they are making with us)

Creation of digital / social media assets for our own internal use / promotion (our social media channels, our website etc)

Managing all our social media channels (Instagram mainly but also LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok etc)

Truly owning the process of creating new assets and being creative to come up with ideas on your own

Personality traits / skills needed for this position:
-Energetic and love working with people
-Amazing graphic design skills – we need top level materials
-Ability to work quickly as needed when we bring on new customers or want to post about a certain event etc.
– True passion for our mission and for the environment. This needs to genuinely show through into the designs and our social media channels
– Ability to manage multiple projects at once (must be very organized and efficient)
-Self motivated and driven – we don’t want to micro manage and want to know the job will get taken care of as best as possible. We are happy to provide support and guidance at anytime but you must be proactive and able to do things without being told
-Ability to look at our current processes and build / develop / make them better as needed. We are not experts in everything and as a startup we are sure there are things we could be doing better in the content creation / social media space

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
