With that focus on the future, we are seeking an innovator and Information Security expert to join us as our Head of Information Security & IT. Our Information Security & Information Technology team is focused on finding better ways to keep our systems confidential, reliable, and security with the highest of integrity as enable our teams to work from anywhere and as we power some of the largest eCommerce retailers in the world. What you’ll do:
- Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards, including certification against ISO 27001 among other certifications and compliance
- Ensure reliable 24/7 operations by defining IT infrastructure architecture as well as standards including disaster recovery, security, storage, servers, monitoring, performance, and back-off systems. Manage and optimize our IT Help Desk
- Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in the organization’s vision and goals
- Lead our Risk Governance process to provide security risk mitigations and input on other technical risks
- Ensure that plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
- Support necessary compliance activities (e.g. ensure that system security configuration guidelines are followed, compliance monitoring occurs)
- Maintain currency with emerging security and IT trends, risks, new guidance or standards (internal and external) and security and network enhancing technologies
- Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantages
- Oversee the information security training and awareness program
- Select, engage, lead, and develop a best-in-class, customer-centric team
- Direct and prioritize the workload of personnel, including FTEs, contractors, and other third parties
- Lead by example and operate with transparency, integrity, respect, and within Bloomreach values
What you’ll bring:
- Self starter, comfortable with high agency & autonomy
- A leader in front of customers, developers, & execs
- An expert with Information Security & IT certifications, compliance and products
- Experience leveraging IT risk frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
- Relevant security qualifications e.g. CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CISM
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in the field of Information Security
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
