HOMER has a newly created opportunity for an Illustrator to join our growing team! This role can be based remotely within select US states (AL; CA; CO; CT; FL; GA; ID; MA; MD; MI; MO; NC; NE; NY; OR; PA; TN; TX; WA; WY).
HOMER is the essential early learning program for kids 2-8. Powered by the HOMER Method, the most effective way for your child to learn— our expert-designed proprietary learning framework is research-backed and kid-tested to give your child the best start to their learning journey. Focused on both academic and personal skills, HOMER develops confident learners prepared for both school and life.
Reporting into our Art and Animation Director, the Illustrator will be working with the VP of Children’s Content, Art and Animation Director, Lead Illustrator and Animators as well as wider squads to conceive and create illustrations and designs for children’s educational apps. Additionally, the Illustrator supports other departments by creating marketing materials, like icons, social posts etc. as well as art and designs for tangible products.
This role is a key contributor to the creation of engaging content including original and licensed IP, increasing kids’ engagement with the apps, the educational efficacy and the overall entertainment of the HOMER apps.
