What the role is:

In your role, you will report to Socure’s Head of People Partners, build trust and credibility to establish yourself as the strategic consultant to the GMs and leaders across the Commercial organization. You will act as their thought partner and sounding board in matters related to their day-to-day employee needs and talent strategy including developing and rolling out programs to enhance employee development and team performance.

In this role you will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels and flex between handling people initiatives and processes one moment and coaching leaders on people-related matters the next. You will develop, socialize and take ownership of People-related initiatives to drive a culture of innovation and inclusion, build organizational strength and scale talent capability across Socure as a whole.

What you’ll do:

  • Build credibility and trust with senior executives and their staffs, and participate fully as a value adding member of their extended teams. Craft your own approach to influence and driving HR best practices with your client groups as a key strategic partner.
  • Work across People & Experience, Finance, Operations, Legal and other functions to develop and deploy programs and solutions that shape leadership capability, employee competency and inclusive culture in alignment with core business strategy.
  • Coach, support and manage constructive conversations at all levels. Handle employee relations concerns with professionalism, empathy and competence.
  • Represent effectively and advocate for the solutions and services of the People team, while also surfacing challenges and educating peers on our team about changing the needs and requirements of your client groups.
  • Lead and participate in projects focused on accelerating learning and performance in a rapidly scaling, distributed business.
  • Develop models and approaches for fostering stronger individual and organizational outcomes. This includes quantitative and qualitative dimensions of org design, career development, workforce planning and people analytics.
  • Directly interview and assess talent for key roles.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for senior leaders in the business unit. Assist with the orchestration and coordination of all things related to the people agenda in a manner that facilitates agility, role clarity, and strong collaboration within the People & Experience function.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience (5+ years), advanced degree (e.g., Masters in ILR, Organizational Behavior, MBA or similar) is a big plus!
  • 5+ years of working as the HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders at VP+ levels.
  • Experience supporting Sales leaders will be important in this role. Experience supporting Corporate and Technical functions is a plus.
  • Experience leading talent management programs and processes, driving compensation strategy at the team and organizational level, managing employee relations challenges and conducting workplace investigations, successfully coaching seasoned leaders and developing and delivering training in various areas of leader effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while demonstrating keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Strong critical thinking and strong quantitative skills
  • Experience with how to provide HR Operational support in a scalable, agile and compliant manner, ideally in a growing international business.
  • Experience using data in decision making and in evaluating the effectiveness of programs and services
  • History of excelling in a rapidly scaling environment
