This position is Full-Time and Remote within India.

As Manager of Sales Development – APAC, you’ll play a pivotal part in HackerRank’s mission to “Accelerate the World’s Innovation”” by having the exciting and important responsibility of leading our APAC SDR Team. You’ll report directly to the Director of Global Sales Development & Programs, and will be responsible for ensuring our APAC SDR Team consistently exceeds their targets.

You will be working on:

  • Lead and manage a team of remote Sales Development Reps responsible for creating inbound and outbound sales opportunities
  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed goals through coaching, training, weekly one on ones, team workshops, and daily metric tracking
  • Meet with your team weekly to proactively review progress, accountability, and metrics
  • Develop SDR talent to help them exceed their quotas and prepare them for internal promotions
  • Help create a fun, high energy environment where people love showing up to work
  • Oversee and monitor the effective use of Salesforce.com and other CRM tools
  • Effectively report on team & individual performance, metrics, and KPIs each week
  • Proactively identify, recruit, and hire top talent to build a team of top performers
  • Train new SDRs via a structured onboarding process and ongoing training
  • Create sales outreach touchplans and messaging for prospecting execution
  • Work with sales leadership to ensure excellent collaboration between SDRs and field sales

We are looking for:

  • 1+ year of experience managing Sales Development / Inside Sales team(s), preferably in the SaaS industry
  • 2+ years of direct selling experience as an individual contributor prospecting and closing deals in a full sales cycle
  • Experience using Salesforce.com is a requirement
  • Experience using Salesloft, Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator is preferred
  • Ability to not only train & coach, but also DO
  • Experience being adaptable while working in high growth, fast paced, or start up environments
  • Strong working knowledge of inbound and outbound prospecting methodologies
  • Proven skill set of identifying great talent and scaling a successful team
