At Meta, more than 200 million businesses use free tools to connect with customers, and more than 10 million of those choose to advertise across our services, the vast majority of which are small and medium sized businesses. We aim to scale awareness of the Meta tools, services and programs available to small businesses to help enable their success through educational programming and scaled marketing initiatives that support their long-term growth.We are looking for an NA Marketing Manager, Small Business to lead the strategic development and end-to-end management of innovative empowerment programs that support small businesses (SMBs) with growing their businesses with Meta tools and platforms. The Manager will partner with the Head of Economic Impact, North America, as well as the Global Economic Impact team, to ideate, propose and develop new in-person experiential and digital programs for small businesses across North America. This role will be both strategic and executional, responsible for developing and owning the overall strategy, and execution of programs.As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for enabling SMB success at scale through in person and virtual education experiences, content, and bespoke programs, including a focus on diverse audiences and integration of industry resources. You will work closely with regional, cross-functional, and Small Business Group partners to ensure coordinated go-to-market planning that has regional and global impact and drives SMB audience engagement, product consideration, and business outcomes. You will work across SMB programs to identify new marketing and/or program integration opportunities to scale their offerings. You will also help market and deliver SMB educational resources to drive engagement and activity across in-person, online, and partner programming.You are passionate about small business and the opportunity that Meta provides to small businesses; you are creative in nature with a foundation rooted in collaboration; a strong presenter – clear and articulate with an influential executive presence; data driven and analytical, understanding trends and impact to optimize for excellence. You are able to identify opportunities and gaps and work relentlessly to solve them. You are responsible for working across marketing functions, teams and external agencies to ultimately build best-in-class marketing campaigns that provide value to small businesses around the world.

North America Marketing Manager, Small Business Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy and implementation for Meta Boost education pillar, including oversight of proprietary and corporate partner programming that utilizes Meta Boost content, insights, and experts
  • Regionalize centrally-built marketing initiatives and identify new opportunities for regional programming (across key moments, audiences, and relevant marketing, product, and program channels)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop programs and content highlighting Meta’s support of SMBs
  • Develop new, scalable tactics to support and engage SMBs on the tools, platforms and resources that Meta offers through partnerships, events, and experiences
  • Leverage data, insights, and trends to identify new opportunities for empowering small businesses and driving business impact
  • Manage external marketing agencies, contractors and vendors as needed
  • Seek synergies across SMB education and empowerment resources at Meta (ex. #SheMeansBusiness, Advocacy, Elevate, Business Education)
  • Explore and activate partnership opportunities with our Global Business Group (GBG) clients which can help us scale to larger audiences
  • Build out an internal communications strategy and deliver key results to our cross functional partners and executive leadership team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience managing agencies, vendors and budgets
  • Experience exhibiting initiative, executive presence
  • 8+ years of integrated marketing experience focusing on strategy/global programs
  • Experience leading experiential and cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience collaborating across regions and cross-functional teams
  • Small Business Marketing experience
  • Experience as a cross-functional influencer and partner
  • Experience using data measurement across marketing channels
  • Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic enviroment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with brand strategy and channel marketing
  • Demonstrates creative acumen, thought-leadership
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • 12+ years of integrated marketing experience focusing on strategy/global programs
  • Experience using data measurement to inform programming
  • Experience collaborating across regions and cross-functional teams
