How?  The container is the single biggest innovation in logistics of the last century and has revolutionized not only an entire industry but also changed the way we live and do business. However, while this iron box itself is simple, standardized, and efficient; using and owning containers is an operational nightmare. Market transparency is limited, trust along the value chain is low and most processes are manual and error-prone. Our mission is to change this—by providing a neutral platform for container owners and users to collaborate easily and efficiently. We are here to connect global container logistics to take the hassle out of owning and transporting container equipment.



PR Manager (f/m/d)

Become a partner of the world’s most important logistics magazines and establish excellent editorial media relationships for xChange in the Middle East and Asia. Position the brand as an industry thought leader and create awareness for our online platforms. Reach 5000 mentions at the end of year 1 to grow awareness for our products in industry publications and support the marketing team with turning awareness into leads.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell

  • Set up goals for regional markets in close collaboration with PR Lead, execute regional strategy, and optimise based on data insights
  • Develop and own narratives that best work in the markets of focus. Bring industry and media intelligence to develop high impact campaigns that work in the global press as well as in the markets of focus
  • Develop and own long-standing PR partnerships. Become the contact person for interview requests and queries, manage them together with your team lead and other xChange internal stakeholders
  • Proactively pitch stories to media targets in close alignment with their editorial plans and our overall xChange content plan based on e.g. additional sources for stories e.g. surveys on LinkedIn and our newsletter in close collaboration with PR lead
  • Support the PR function in developing customer storytelling press releases from India as well as other markets of focus and develop a streamlined pipeline of customer press releases

  • A born storyteller – someone who is able to connect what’s happening in the world of container logistics and Container xChange
  • You are strong at building relationships, reaching out to people, making sure people like and trust you as well as maintaining relationships comes easy for you
  • You have strong management skills and the ability to plan and carry out projects
  • A convincing communicator with fluent English– you cannot only excite people but connect the dots to ultimately convince them
  • A data-driven mindset with a hands-on mentality – you naturally identify ways to increase efficiency of processes and do not hesitate to bring them to life

What to expect

  • An exciting role: You have a direct impact on our company growth by owning and executing our PR strategy for our core markets such as India, UAE, Pakistan, and beyond
  • Work closely with PR Lead and Head of Marketing to measure success of marketing activities
  • Create and own xChange content plan for PR in core markets and in close collaboration with freelancers, keeping it in sync with the editorial calendars of big publishers, product launches, the overall xChange content plan and industry news
