Job Description

The ServiceNow Partner Design Studio is seeking a Platform Architect with Security Operations background to join our team. We utilize human-centered, design thinking tools and mindset to achieve exponential results. Some teams say they change the world, we have actual examples.

The Partner Design Studio is part of our pre-sales organization. We are focused on solely on co-creating innovative solution with ServiceNow partners. Our team brings technical expertise, real-world experience, strong executive engagement skills, and an inspirational mindset to help our partners understand the opportunities of the “platform of platforms” vision. We act as technical leaders for our partners most complex solutions, designed to ensure they can realize the value they need. We do this by leveraging best practices and industry standards to architect best-in-class solutions.

In collaboration with partners and ServiceNow Alliance Managers, and the Design Studio Architect will lead stakeholders through the process of creating partner-branded offerings based on the ServiceNow platform and technology. The ideal candidate will be able to advise our partners to develop technical capabilities and guide them throughout the process of creating innovative customer-ready offerings. In addition, the candidate will be able to lead strategic conversations based on industry, market, and horizontal positioning to help the partner find best opportunities in which to deploy ServiceNow as a solution.

What You Get to Do

• Engage at the highest levels within market-making strategic partners as the technical guide.

• Build and maintain unequivocal expertise in the ServiceNow SecOps domain to serve as a go-to resource for partners.

• Engage with partner teams and key decision makers to understand business imperatives and partner specializations.

• Take a lead role in technology conversations with partners, serving as an evangelist for ServiceNow platform and technology capabilities.

• Collaborate on Business Plan creation, working with the partner to determines goals, strategy, and measurable objectives.

• Work with partners to document user personas, uncover market needs, and partner with cross functional teams to bring offerings to market.

• Develop clear understanding of partners’ solution offerings, markets addressed.

• Develop clear understanding of designated partners’ capabilities, capacity, cocreating goals and strategies.

• Based on level of integration and strategic nature of partner, determine resource allocation towards partner efforts.

• Help define offerings and assist in project scoping.

• Determine capabilities needed to successfully create, operationalize, and deliver offerings.

• Identify gaps in partner capabilities and direct appropriate teams and resources to fill

• Once solution goals are defined, work to create handoff with Solution Development team for build phase.

• Cultivate relationships and manage communications with ServiceNow field to promote solution offerings.

• Travelfor partner, customer, and organizational activities up to 50%.


• 5+ years Security Operations, CyberRisk ,GRC, Risk Management, IT Risk or similar

• SaaS experience is preferred.

• 10+ years of technical sales, pre-sales or similar experience.

• Material experience in working with technology partners, either at a partner or OEM.

• Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation

• Familiarity with key Risk areas such as Compliance, Regulatory Change Management, IT Risk Management, CyberRisk, Fraud, and the like.

• Industry knowledge in Financial Services, Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and similar a plus.

• Intrinsically curious and passionate about researching current and emerging technologies and developing innovative solutions.

• Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely; effective at providing practical guidance; able to demonstrate and present at the highest level.

• Experience working in a large corporate enterprise, government environments, engaging at the CxO level.

• Superior verbal and written communication skills, facilitation skills, and impeccable communication habits.

To be successful in this role you have:

• Ten or more years of proven success in influencing senior technology leaders to drive change in a pre-sales, customer, or delivery focused role.

• Successfully lead diverse teams to reach challenging goals and can leverage organizational networks to get things done.

• A track record of success in using Human Centered Design techniques to explore the customers current reality and set a vision for the future.

• Expertise designing, implementing and managing advanced architectures in an application domain and integrating multiple systems or platforms

• A proven track record of success with Enterprise Architecture or Application Architecture; pre-sales in a software vendor, in a large Enterprise or professional services environment.

• Familiarity with common Enterprise and Industry Architecture frameworks such as: TOGAF, Zachman, IT4IT, BIAN, TMForum, etc.

• Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation

• Experience and understanding of multiple technical domains – application, data, DevOps, AI/ML, integration, big data, mobility, analytics, etc.

• Intrinsically curious and passionate about researching current and emerging technologies and developing innovative solutions

• Experience presenting architecture concepts, designs, and goals to technology leaders and partners

Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home.
