As a Principal Product Manager, you will guide an informed and successful product strategy and usher teams and clients through all aspects of the product life cycle (including research, ideation, validation, prioritization, and iteration) to successfully define, build, launch, and scale products and businesses.

  • Identify team roles and compositions, engagement deliverables and outcomes, and product development processes required for successful projects
  • Ensure the product vision solves a problem for specific users, generates business value, is achievable, and is poised to succeed in the market
  • Champion and educate the client on a MVP approach and provide strategic, value-driven, outcomes-oriented frameworks and guidance on feature assessment and prioritization, balancing desirability, viability, and feasibility
  • Create portfolio-level roadmaps and launch plans that encompass product, design, technical, and operational dependencies, with iterative value delivery
  • Partner with Design Strategy to align on research focus, learning objectives, and methodologies, ensuring that key assumptions are identified and validated
  • Partner with Product Design and Engineering on strategic decision making rooted in a well-rounded, contemporary perspective on UX/UI and technical considerations
  • Derive insights from market and competitive analysis and business model strengths and weaknesses to guide product strategy, positioning, and differentiation
  • Guide product outcomes and KPIs to ensure they are useful, comprehensive, measurable, and realistic
  • Serve as a strategic partner for clients, ensuring that value is delivered and understood; Help influence project extensions or new projects
  • Keep clients on track and drive/influence project decision making, effectively pushing back -or- managing pivots as necessary
  • Craft and guide the team to create clear client presentations and compelling narratives with the appropriate level of depth and polish for the intended audience
  • Lead and contribute to internal and external initiatives and thought leadership and positively represent Giant Machines (e.g. through talks/panel discussions, mentoring, etc.)


  • Track record of successfully and repeatedly taking digital products from concept through commercialization
  • Subject matter expertise of several industries/verticals across consumer and enterprise; Ability to draw relevant parallels to others and get up to speed quickly in new areas
  • Expert consultant / client manager with utmost professionalism
  • Strategic thinker with an innovation mindset
  • Ability to anticipate and thrive in complexity, ambiguity, and change; Provide clarity, direction, decision-making, and focus with (sometimes) limited information
  • Expert product strategist and manager who effectively balances user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Deep experience with Agile/Scrum and other product development frameworks, a variety of project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.), and best practices in product documentation and requirements definition
  • Proficient knowledge of design methodologies and software development; Trusted cross-disciplinary collaborator and thought partner
  • Experience across a variety of applications (e.g. mobile, web, desktop) and development types (front-end, back-end)
  • Expert storyteller, clear communicator, and convincing influencer
  • Ability to create business models, financial models, and operating plans
  • Ability to create and drive go-to-market, growth, content, and other marketing strategies, and use product metrics to drive data-driven conversations
  • High degree of project accountability and standards of quality
  • Trusted advisor for project teams, clients, and across Giant Machines, due to wealth of experience “doing the work” and willingness to get hands dirty
  • Natural and thoughtful leader who guides, engages, listens to, empowers, and mentors a team
