The Developer Education (devED) team at Polygon creates best-in-class learning products, resources, and experiences that effectively help developers onboard to Polygon's blockchain technologies and continuously develop their skills to accelerate their path to productivity. We rely on a science driven product development approach to understanding what developers need, and to create the most effective educational experiences to help them achieve success.
Are you a software engineer or solution architect with working knowledge and passion for educating others so they can learn the skills they need to build technology? Do you believe in the big potential that Ethereum and other blockchain technologies have for changing the way we interact with the web for work, play and life? If so, this may be the role for you. We are looking for a Principal Tech Curriculum Developer to help us drive our strategy and roadmap for both in-house and partner-driven learning experiences and resources creation. This role will work closely with the product, learning platform, solutions architecture, marketing, and developer relations teams at Polygon to identify the features of educational experiences with the highest impact.

Basic Qualifications

    • Strong proficiency and experience creating Computer Science or Engineering education curriculum, materials, and experiences (technical articles, whitepapers, tutorials, sample code).
    • Working knowledge of the blockchain and dapps
    • Working knowledge of formative and summative assessment and evaluation principles and techniques for technical skills.
    • Working knowledge and superior ability to rapidly learn one or more web2/web3/mobile application or game development frameworks and popular programming languages: Java, Kotlin, C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, React Native, Solidity.
    • 4 Year Degree in Computer Science, Learning/Cognitive Science, Educational Technology or similar, or equivalent work experience.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills
    • Superior public speaking, presentation skills
    • Proficiency authoring technical, educational content
    • Willingness to travel and ability to work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge and experience developing blockchain/web3 projects using ethereum and /or polygon technologies.
    • Strong experience developing blockchain technology projects
    • Working knowledge of learning science, instructional science or game-based learning principles applied to educational designs.
    • Superior social media and developer community building skills
