As a Product Copywriter at WeTransfer, you’ll work outside of briefs and across departments. You’ll work alongside the UX researchers and product designers in our product teams to create effortless and enjoyable user experiences. You’ll write puns, emails, and advertising wallpapers for the marketing team, who will tell you to please stop writing puns. You’ll collaborate with designers in our in-house Studio to create company branding and communications. You’ll shape the stories we tell as a company, and contribute ideas, jokes, and spell-checking to WeTransfer, Paper, Paste, and Collect. And although you can do it all, we don’t expect you to do it all at once.
What you will be doing:
Write, edit, and improve copy for WeTransfer products and channels, to create experiences that resonate with our audience and contribute to business goals
Define and champion WeTransfer’s human and relatable voice across teams and external partners, which includes contributing to and maintaining brand and product playbooks with writing guidelines and best practices
Work directly with design, marketing, product management, UX research, and support to create solutions to problems with a focus on an optimal user experience
Collaborate across teams and timezones for productive remote work
What you bring to the table:
Proven track record in copywriting for websites and/or mobile apps for a global audience
Knowledge and understanding of UX principles
Experience working cross-functionally, e.g. with designers, engineers, and marketing stakeholders
