Podsights is a distributed organization seeking our first Product Manager to join our growing team! This person will define the practice at Podsights.

Here’s a little about us, a little about what we believe and what we are looking for.

Podsights’ mission is simple; we are looking to grow the podcast industry. Far too many brands try a podcast advertising campaign and churn. Or worse: they don’t even try to enter the market. By providing a platform for brands to understand and scale podcast advertising, we encourage investment in podcast advertising and by proxy to publishers.

Your role as a Product Manager will be to set the ship’s direction and make it run in partnership with the marketing, engineering, and sales teams at Podsights. Podsights is a team of 16 and needs someone’s hands on the rudder.

We believe that where you went to school has little bearing on your performance as a product manager. Where you live isn’t a proxy for talent. Your current employer provides low signal about your future potential.

At Podsights, we look for ambition and curiosity. We want the product manager who wants to start their own company one day. We want you to truly understand the market and why we are building a new product.

You have excellent communication skills and can clearly present a roadmap, features, and, most importantly, why we are building the product. You use process to move faster and not to create bureaucracy.

Ideally, you will have 5+ years of experience as a product manager and some of it at a SaaS company. You have a background in building advertising products for brands.
