Who You Are:
The Learning Team is at the core of Flockjay. It consists of Flockjay staff, trainers, and TA’s who all work together to teach, support, and coach our Tech Fellows. As our Program Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the program execution of an individual class. This includes responsibility for up to 40 Tech Fellows, and up to 6 contractors. This role is interwoven with several other stakeholders who are critical to the success of Flockjay, and you will be at the center of it.
Our class producer will be someone with an operational background, a strong orientation towards detail and an ability to manage several deadlines, technical tools, and communication channels at once. For this role you must be someone who can clearly assign responsibilities, set targets and hit those targets.
As Program Operations Lead, you must be able to execute quickly and efficiently. We are also looking for a team member who is grounded in the “Why” of the work that we do and understands that at the end of the day, our Tech Fellows come first.
This position is also fully remote, however, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
What You’ll Do
Program Execution & Operations – Manage the daily operations of Flockjay class & monitor the status of your class based on metrics that will lead to Tech Fellows success
Trainer, TA and Resume Coach Management – Ensure Trainers, Coaches and TAs are prepared, supported, and have access to necessary information
Oversee, Refine and Establish Processes – Track the success of your work and constantly iterate to improve the Learning Team, contractor, and Tech Fellow experience–allowing us to scale
Strategize and Build for the Future – This role is critical in developing and refining our Learning Team processes as we grow and scale. In this role you will be bring your strategic mind to help make data-backed decisions that will shape the future of Flockjay
What You’ll Bring
Relevant experience – you have 3-5 years in an operations or program management role
Result Driven and Data-Oriented- you are maniacal about tracking and presenting data
Communication- you have been in roles where you have created written and verbal lines of communication that showcase clarity and professionalism
Organized and process-focused – Tech Savvy- you are always looking for new tools to increase efficiency on your end and for SDRs
Passion for education and access- to economic opportunity for people from non-traditional and underrepresented backgrounds
Experience with Notion, Loom, Airtable, Front or an LMS
Experience working at previous bootcamps or in an education-related position
