What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?
We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to support our large scale infrastructure while improving reliability and automation.
This role can be based anywhere in Poland.
What you will be doing :
- Support a Global distributed Classifieds Platform Evolution (Scalability, HA, Deployment, Performance)
- Architect, build and implement Infrastructure services to enable our distributed Platform growth
- Contribute to our Internal Tooling set that help us improve our Operations processes, manage our Infrastructure, and scale our Systems
- Advocate sensible, scalable, systems design and share responsibility within the organisation in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues through mechanisms like automation
- Take Operational responsibility for the Services that we own, including taking part in an On-Call rotation, practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
- Automate as much as humanly possible and always configure as Code
- Provide Best Practices and share our Knowledge with the rest of the Teams
- Work closely with and support our distributed Application groups around the world
Who we’re looking for:
- Significant experience in backend infrastructure
- Experience building and scaling High-Traffic Web Applications
- Good Knowledge of Containers and Containers Orchestration, such as Kubernetes
- Good Knowledge on Amazon Web Services ecosystem
- Proficiency on Configuration Management Frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Salt
- Solid background on Linux/Unix Systems
- Expertise with one or more modern programming languages: Python, Go, Ruby
- Excellent problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
- Good verbal and written English
