Assembled is building software to transform and elevate customer support teams, which often represent 20-50% of the people at a company. Signs of traction

Over the last year and a half, we’ve achieved several significant growth milestones, including:

  • Growing revenue by 5x while also delivering a 200+% NRR (net revenue retention)
  • Tripling our customer base, with notable new customers including Zoom, Asana, Wynn, Color Genomics, and Restaurants Brands International in addition to existing customers like Etsy, Stripe, Monzo, Notion, and others
  • Building out leadership in Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and UX with SaaS veterans from Shopify, Atlassian, Flexport, and Stripe
  • Growing the Assembled team by 5x (from 12 to 65 people)
  • Launching several new product updates, including a revamped scheduling experience, agent scorecard, algorithmic scheduling automations, reporting API endpoints, and contact platform integrations
  • Forming additional strategic partnerships with leading customer experience companies, including UJET, Five9, and MaestroQA

We’re looking for a multi-sport Revenue Operations athlete to help drive Assembled’s next chapter of sustained growth. You’ll be our first Revenue Ops hire and work closely with go-to-market leadership, including our Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, Head of Customer Success, and CEO.

This role is for the curious, proactive, and creative thinker who is equally comfortable working with data, systems, and processes as they are driving strategy at the tip of the spear. This is a unique opportunity to help build critical go-to-market foundations, and comes with significant ownership over high-impact decisions (e.g., renewal/expansion strategy, GTM performance optimization) as well as execution of key processes, tooling, and workflows.   • Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and more to ensure consistency on operational strategy, communications, and execution across pipeline creation, implementation, and upsell/cross-sell
  • Design, develop & deliver robust and scalable reporting and analysis around pipeline health, deal management, forecasting and team productivity
  • Work closely with internal and GTM partners to implement and own new sales/marketing systems, processes (including deal desk processes), and strategies
  • Develop and define organizational KPIs and sales and marketing funnel metrics to set goals while managing cross-functional reporting and analytics
  • Partner in planning processes and own our sales/GTM revenue forecasting
  • Own the models around and recommendations for sales rep/SDR productivity, team planning, compensation plans, quota setting, and territory design
  • Ensure data accuracy, data hygiene, and data enrichment across lead scoring, routing, pipeline attribution, and more
  • Drive deep-dive root cause analysis on high-priority challenges related to growth objectives
  • Serve as a thought partner for sales leadership, with a focus on analytics and process infrastructure to support the growth and scale of the sales organization
  • Drive annual territory / quota / account planning process
  • Quickly solve sales process pain points in the moment, while helping develop long-term solutions
  • Build and maintain key documentation regarding our policies, sales processes, and engagement rules

About you

  • 5+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Revenue Operations at a high-growth startup
  • Experience building out sales and marketing systems and processes
  • Project management experience working across multiple teams
  • Modeling and/or systems architecture experience (forecasting revenue, sales, budgetary, and staffing plans)
  • Deep understanding of B2B, sales-led motions, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Ability to create a performance and metrics focused culture
  • Powerful analytical skills and you love creating structure, automation, and efficiency
  • Strong background with Salesforce (nice-to-haves: Hubspot, Outreach)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially as it relates to complex analyses that need to be translated to a broader audience
