Position Summary

Reporting to our Sales Operations Manager, you will work cross functionally as a key point of contact for the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance and Accounting teams for all matters relating to sales contracts and billing.

You will oversee our CRM performance and engagement across the teams, onboard new salespeople. You will also use Salesforce to ensure reporting requirements are met and make sure sales data in orders and invoices is complete and consistent across systems (billing, CRM).

You will develop sales reports to deliver data driven insights to departments.

The ideal candidate can be flexible in hours but comfortable being available 9 – 5 CDT (US)

 

What you can expect to do on a daily basis

  • Manage the order cycle for Platform.sh products and follow up on any discrepancies in the order process
  • Enforce the data quality across all systems
  • Assist and communicate with multiple teams :  Sales, Marketing, Finance and Product teams
  • Research specific provisioning and revenue questions in our order and revenue systems for events that fall outside of the standard
  • Create dashboards and reports for sales data analytics and forecasting

What you bring

  • A caring mindframe and an empathetic spirit. The ability to think from other perspectives is a tool we ask of all employees
  • +2 years experience as a Sales administrator in the IT industry
  • Good understanding of the Salesforce architecture
  • Analytical with proficiency in sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • Reactive, sense of service and of urgency, flexible
  • Detail oriented and rigorous
  • English language proficiency

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of project management tool (i.e Asana, Jira)
  • Knowledge of NetSuite

About our recruitment process

We don’t expect a great hire to meet every requirement we have listed. If you can see yourself elevating the team we want to hear about your story. Few of us would be here had we not taken a chance.

You can expect 1-4 interviews on Google Meet. We leave the process fairly customizable to teams and roles, so in some scenarios we’re able to streamline the process to have minimal rounds. Expect a higher number of rounds for director level roles and above.

Additionally, you can schedule coffee chats with potential future peers while you’re in the recruitment process to see if you can envision working together. Use interview and coffee time to make sure the company aligns with your best working environment.
