Overview

As an SCCM Systems Administrator, you will be part of our Infrastructure End User and Engineering team responsible for deployment and maintenance of our windows desktop operating systems technology solutions.  You will have ownership of all monitoring, troubleshooting and installation of software/patching/tools over all windows desktop operating systems.  

Responsibilities

In this job you will:

  • Be responsible for application packaging and deployment to all windows desktop operating systems
  • Plan/coordinate deployments to all endpoints enterprise-wide
  • Maintain the security posture of the endpoints through windows desktop operating systems and application patching, as well as other identified configuration vulnerabilities
  • Create, test and deploy software images for endpoint devices
  • Review and analyze reports for hardware and software inventories, new or aged vulnerabilities, remediation timeline etc.
  • Identify manual activities and engineer solutions to automate them
  • Participate in root cause analysis on recurring tickets and identify opportunities for automated remediation
  • Responsible for the technical engineering, upgrade, and implementation of:
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
    • BitLocker Workstation Encryption
    • Workstation agents (i.e. Symantec Endpoint Protection, Carbon Black)
    • Mobile device management (i.e. MobileIron, inTune)
    • Image deployment (SmartDeploy, SCCM)
  • Provide guidance to operational resources as assigned for:
    • Performing routing system maintenance activities
    • Timely resolution and closure of tickets
    • Complex problem solving
    • Third tier support as required

  • You have experience with:
    • Windows 10
    • SCCM
    • PowerShell scripting

Qualifications

You should get in touch if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years related experience in systems engineering
  • You have a minimum 3 years of Desktop Engineering with SCCM experience (advanced knowledge of patch management and software distribution) required
  • You have experience designing, deploying, managing, and configuring virtual and physical workstation environments using Windows 10 with Microsoft SCCM
  • You have the ability to create and manage profiles, manage apps and create compliance rules using SCCM
  • You have extensive knowledge of Active Directory user and group management and integration with SCCM
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, be responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking
