What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?
School of Motion is looking for a totally remote senior designer with a broad stylistic range to help create top-notch visuals that attract and help educate the School of Motion community.
In this role, your day to day will include:
- Creating production art for content, courses, and promotional materials
- Ensuring that our brand guidelines are being utilized across multiple channels (Social, YouTube, Ads)
- Organize and Manage creative assets such as stock imagery and illustrations.
- Develop a more cohesive look for artwork used in blog posts and videos
- Retouch and/or resize photography and imagery as needed
- Update and enhance existing design deliverables by working with established templates and existing documents
- Create new templates and reusable design solutions for a range of digital deliverables across multiple social and digital channels
- Help control quality assurance around all asset creation
To succeed in this role, you must be:
- A confident designer who isn’t afraid of working in a multitude of styles
- Be able to have flexibility in turn around time to accommodate requirement changes in editorial
- A strong communicator who can work with Producers and Creative Directors to achieve goals within budgetary / deadline constraints.
- Familiar with best-practices regarding design for social media and other forms of promotion
- Really, really comfortable with Photoshop and Illustrator
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with InDesign and PDF creation
- An interest or familiarity with Motion Design
- Experience with Adobe After Effects
- Experience with Figma or other UI/UX design tools
- Experience with UI/UX design principles
- Experience integrating design within a marketing operation (e.g. marketing automation)

Our mission is to break down the barriers to learning, mastering, and working in Motion Design.
