What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

The Aledade Experience Design & Research (XDR) team is looking for passionate and talented Senior Experience Designers to envision and design products and services that help transform primary health care in the US to truly patient centered, equitable, value based care.
You’ll exercise and grow your outstanding skills in product design – spanning interaction, visual, and content design – to envision, define, and deliver innovative human centered solutions to a range of complex and important challenges including:
• delivering comprehensive interdisciplinary care to high risk patients
• seamlessly engaging with and supporting patients
• delivering actionable insights that inform clinical decision making and population health management
• streamlining and accelerating essential clinical workflows and practice operations
You’ll collaborate with other members of our rapidly growing Experience Design & Research team, cross functional team members (product managers, clinicians, engineers, data scientists, operational and field support teams, etc.) AND continuously engage with and learn from the people and practices we serve (clinicians, nurses, practice managers, support staff, patients).
You’ll see key projects through from start to finish, iteratively generating product/service concepts, prototyping interactive experiences and interfaces, and delivering detailed designs for new product/service releases. You’ll leverage insights from experience research and an appreciation for human experience and behavior change to inspire, ground, and inform your work.  Working closely with cross functional agile teams, you’ll creatively consider and address the social, technology, business, and data contexts to help deliver viable and compelling solutions with measurable impact for the people we serve and for the Aledade mission.
You’ll join a passionate and talented XDR team and company deeply committed to learning, inclusion, and equity.  We value candidates with diverse perspectives, experiences, and abilities from Black, Indigenous, Latinx, APIDA, LGBTQ+, and other communities.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/from home within the US.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver experience designs for key products & services in close collaboration with cross functional agile teams and the people we serve
    • Assess, map, and envision end-to-end experiences, journeys and solutions that blend digital and human touchpoints to support, build upon, and/or transform existing workflows
    • Create interaction design prototypes of varying levels of fidelity to visualize complex ideas and facilitate assessment, learning, and communication
    • Iteratively create and refine design deliverables (e.g., storyboards, experience flows, interactive wireframes, content designs, visual design mockups, build ready visual assets, etc.) that support collaboration, product evaluations/testing, and product development
    • Craft detailed interface designs and work closely with engineering and other cross functional team members to deliver workflows, interactions, content, and data visualizations that are beautiful, performant, accessible, extensible, and scalable
    • Collaborate on, contribute to, and apply insights from experience research
    • Ground design solutions in an understanding of the motivations, needs, and behaviors of diverse target users
    • Help define XDR methods, playbook, and best practices
    • Contribute to an accessible, inclusive, and effective experience design system and pattern & asset library

    • Bachelor’s Degree (Masters or other advanced degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is a plus)
    • 5+ years of professional experience in product and service design
    • 1+ years of design experience in complex health care contexts (e.g., population health, clinical decision support, interdisciplinary care management, patient engagement, etc.)
    • Demonstrated experience and skill designing complex analytic, decision support and workflow applications
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and deliver quality designs working closely with cross functional, agile product development teams
    • A robust portfolio showing expertise in multiple facets (two or more) of experience design, particularly interaction design, visual design, and content design
    • A deep understanding of all facets of human-centered design including an ability to contribute to experience research and apply research based insights to design
    • Fluency and skill with a variety of design related tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, etc.)
    • Understanding of and commitment to inclusive and accessible design
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, consulting, and organizational navigation skills
All prospective hires will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated, including booster shots, against COVID-19 with a COVID-19 vaccine for which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a license or an Emergency Use Authorization prior to mutually-agreed upon start date at Aledade, unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement. In certain limited circumstances, Aledade will accept documented proof of prior infection with COVID-19 in lieu of a booster shot.
