We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Security to join our global product management team.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be an integral part of the growing team that drives the next-generation database platform’s security and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will balance initiative and self-motivation with an ability to work with geographically and culturally diverse teams, internal to Redis Labs, as well as partner and customer teams. You are curious and inquisitive about what makes a product tick, detail-oriented, and disciplined to record what you learn and build in product requirements, documentation, and verbal form to audiences of various skill levels. You enjoy listening to partners and customers and can successfully navigate business-oriented and engineering organizations to achieve your goals. Responsibilities
- Drive security strategy and roadmap for the entire Redis Labs product portfolio
- Work with customers, and customer facing teams, to distill customer needs into product requirements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders: R&D, Education, Marketing, and Solution Architect teams, to ensure timely delivery of products to the market
- Evangelize the security and privacy capabilities of Redis and the Redis Labs portfolio in the press, with analysts, at industry events, and across multiple verticals such as financial, government, and healthcare industries
- Work with our corporate compliance and auditing organization to drive standard compliance across products and organization, and oversee its implementation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager in SaaS / B2B / Enterprise software industry or equivalent experience in an Enterprise organization
- Deep understanding of data encryption methodologies, standards and best practices (PKI, FIPS)
- Experience with mission-critical products and operational security requirements (DDoS, Authn/Authz, MFA)
- 3+ years of experience leading the development (as a Product Manager) of compliance and security-related capabilities for enterprise-grade products
- Comfortable with private and public cloud computing and SaaS technologies
Advantages
- Previous experience with distributed systems
- Experience with NoSQL databases (extra points for Redis experience)
- Previous experience working on products for developers and operators
- Understanding of privacy and security compliance standards (one or more) such as PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, Privacy Shield, SOC 2, etc.
- Can navigate cloud-native technology—public cloud providers, containers, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry
