About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Software developer with strong object-oriented coding skills, excellent attention to detail, and a real passion for alluring app design to join our mobile apps team. As a developer on this team, you will:
- Work on the most popular real estate application in the US
- Work on the latest Android technologies and architectural patterns to develop world class mobile applications.
- Contribute to outstanding full-stack mobile application development from concept to launch
- Implement client-side features and server APIs and services to support planned mobile functionality
- Collaborate with an agile cross-team of developers, testers, designers & program managers to build features that engages our users and understands their outstanding expectations
- Consistently deliver performant, testable, scalable, highly-readable code using OO best practices
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
Who you are
You’re passionate about phenomenal user-facing applications and you’re interested in the mobile space. You’re completely new to mobile application development and eager to try something different — most of our group came from a non-mobile background!
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- You are proficient with an object-oriented language
- You thrive in an agile, multi-functional, and collaborative team environment
- You care deeply about a phenomenal end user experience
- You love supporting other developers and directly collaborating with other software engineering teams
- You demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
