Senior UI Developer, Digital Services
Salesforce Industries is recruiting Senior UI developers to join our fast-growing team. These developers will have the unique opportunity to shape and create user friendly, innovative and beautiful Salesforce Industries’ vertical web apps from the ground up based on the Salesforce Platform.
As a Senior UI developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex product requirements that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable, in large part on the SalesForce platform. You will be working in a highly agile environment, with product owners, UI/UX designers, and customers, as well as with our leadership team, using iterative and test-driven design methods.
You may be developing in languages including Visualforce, Apex, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop beautiful and intuitive User Interfaces in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Lightning Components and Web Components. Write to create clean, effective and unit-testable code for simple or complex user tasks. Lead a team of UI engineers. Work in agile, rapid development and prototyping environment where effective communication is paramount. Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
Stellar academic background with Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required, specializing in computer science, engineering or similar.
5+ years of experience in UI development.
Experience with leading a project and team.
Experience with JavaScript and CSS/SCSS.
Experience with JavaScript framework such as AngularJS.
Strong proficiency with web-related protocols and architectures (MVC, MVVM, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP)
Attention to UI and UX details.
Excellent understanding of OOP patterns and methodologies and experience with OO languages.
Experience with responsive web design and development.
Experience with cross browser compatibility.
Experience with designing high performing UI app.
Experience with solving UI App memory and performance issues.
Experience with Force.com, SalesForce1 platform, and SalesForce Lightning Design System (SLDS) is a plus.
Experience with JavaScript test frameworks such as Jasmine or Mocha is a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
Experience with Agile development practices and concepts.
