Site Reliability Engineer – Clovr Labs

 Your mission in the team

As a SRE you will support the team to extend current products and systems.

You will be part of a motivated team to create new and exciting infrastructure automation projects.

 

 What do we expect from you?

➡️ You will need passion and some understanding of infrastructure management with tools like Terraform and Ansible in a virtualized environment.

➡️ You’re willing to grow in an environment of ever-changing requirements, change priorities on the fly and never get attached to written code: code is ephemeral, it’s the results that matter.

➡️ We generally prefer a solid understanding of the basics and the ability to learn and adapt rather than specialization focused on one tool or set of tools.

➡️ There will be some direct interaction with customers, so the ability to understand their requirements and expectations is essential.

 

 Key roles

➡️ Assist in the development and implementation of a DevOps transformation.

➡️ Grow to become a senior engineer.

➡️ Provide logical reasoning to address the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.

 

⭐️ It’s nice to have some previous experience working with the following

➡️ Experience with automated build pipeline, continuous integration and continuous deployment, Gitlab experience is a plus.

➡️ Some hands-on experience designing, provisioning and maintaining a virtualized environment.

➡️ Knowledge of the following tools and platforms: ✅ Ansible/Terraform ✅ AWS ✅ Docker ✅ Kubernetes.

➡️ Ability to provide timely solutions to problems in a well thought out and strategic manner.

➡️ Solid understanding of IT principles such as TCP/IP, Unix architecture, algorithms and logic.
