Job Description

As a member of ourCommercial SolutionConsulting team, you will have the opportunity to partner with your sales counterparts and customers to help formulate a strategy and vision of the ServiceNow platform, positioning value and business outcomes for your customers. You will also partner across our solution sales organizations working with theEmployee Experience, Customer Workflow, ITXSolution Sales groups, helping to position those workflow solutions to your customers.

What you get to do in this role:

  • The Solution Consultantis a strategic partner to your account executive peers and customers. You will position and provide-specificsolutions during sales cycles through solution demonstrations, discovery qualification, and roadmap workshops while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for assigned territory.
  • Position the value of the ServiceNow platform to the customer to satisfy their business outcomes
  • Be the trusted advisor to your customers
  • Support product sales as a solution expertof a client-facing sales team
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers’ challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  • Guide strategic programs in top accounts such as roadmap or outcomes workshops
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements thatcanaddress customer needs and guide additional value
  • Shareand learnbest practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 2+ years of pre-sales solution consultingor sales engineeringexperience in the customer service, field service or CRM software industry
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
  • Ability to listen to customer requirements and provide a solution to address the customer’s business issue
  • Proactiveapproach to performwithout being told what to do
  • Ability to prioritize task and be efficient to minimize wasted effort

Work personas

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.

Required in Office

A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

Flexible

A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

Remote

A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
