As our first solutions engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the founding team to iterate and improve the qualification and onboarding process of new prospects for a hypergrowth startup.  You will work closely with multiple teams to support the sales function and achieve better qualifications and quicker deal cycles.  This is a unique opportunity to take your career to a new level and have high organizational impact in the rapidly growing cloud infrastructure/warehousing sector and be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing startup with a multitude of opportunities for career growth and advancement.
What You’ll Do
  • Become a technical expert on the nuances and details of data movement via Airbyte.
  • Work directly with Sales to technically qualify prospects.
  • Work directly with external technical counterparts (Head of Engineering, Data Engineering Leads, Analysts, etc.) to scope Airbyte engagements.
  • Document technical requirements, workflows, and functionality of prospects.
  • Answer key technical buying questions regarding product capabilities/functionality and roadmap.
  • Communicate technical feature requests and technical competitor info internally to Marketing, Product, Execs, and Engineering.
What You’ll Need
  • 2+ Years SaaS/Tech/Startup Experience
  • Experience in B2B / B2B2C Space
  • 1+ Years of Software Development / Engineering Experience
  • Incredible Interpersonal Skills
  • Solid understanding and ability to code with two or more modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
  • Great presentation/demo/whiteboard skills.
