About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Manager for Technology Strategy focused on the Australian public sector vertical.

 

Our CTO organization includes a team of Technical Strategy leaders that bring outstanding ideas, the ability to execute, and teamwork to a strategic, high future impact organization. This role will include strategic facing aspects with both external and internal clients and partners. The primary responsibility of this role is to create and communicate the company’s technical vision and strategy on a regional basis.

 

This role reports to the Senior Director for Public Sector Technology Strategy.

 

What You’ll Do:

With your extensive cybersecurity background and your ability to think and operate at a strategic level, you will drive CrowdStrike’s technical vision and strategy across the Americas region, as well as:

  • Engaging in the development of CrowdStrike’s long-range strategic vision, and facilitating the entry of new security technology concepts to market to position CrowdStrike as the thought leader for Cybersecurity with customers, partners, and industry analysts
  • Partnering with internal organizations to develop a unified go-to-market strategy for the Australian public sector vertical
  • Driving and communicating CrowdStrike’s technology strategy to customers, partners, investors, industry analysts, as well as media and industry events
  • Engaging with the field sales teams and key accounts to provide further security strategy advice and support
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the cyber security industry, and related developments, to ensure we continue to be thought leaders who innovate
  • Working as part of a team of passionate, experienced and credible security experts to act as advisors to our strategic customers with responsibility to enable our customers to operationalize CrowdStrike’s platform and get the most value from CrowdStrike products and services
  • Using stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Discovering new technologies that yield competitive advantage as part of the core platform or through technology partnerships
  • Providing support to the wider CTO organization including the Falcon Fund, Privacy & Cyber Policy, Data Science and Detection Architecture teams, as well as the broader CrowdStrike organization as needed
  • Providing recommendations for continuous improvement

 

This is a high visibility role requiring strong communication and technical skills. Experience with compliance and privacy requirements is a must due to the focus of the public sector market. Familiarity with cloud architecture and systems design is a plus.
