About the Role/Team:

This role is for the Product Group that builds our Falcon FileVantage Unmitigated File Integrity Monitoring, Falcon FileVantage offers engineers and orgs a single source of truth for all critical file, folder, and registry changes in a single-pane-of-glass resource, with ‘Zero’ impact on performance — Searches take place in the cloud and have zero impact on endpoints and the network. As a Senior UI Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will focus on scaling the frontend of this offering, creating new and diverse types of views, and designing many reusable components for furthering data viz, and moving further towards a single-pane-of-glass architecture.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead and contribute to features/initiatives building web application UIs written in JavaScript & Typescript with modern frameworks including EmberJS

Write high quality code and automated tests for your code

Collaborate with fellow UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, UX Writers, Technical Writers, User Researchers, QA Analysts, Product Managers, and others

Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams development experience

Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry

Have fun solving difficult problems

What you’ll need:

5+ years of experience in software development on enterprise-scale software applications

A deep understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application front ends with modern frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, or Vue.

Strong HTML & CSS skills, including experience with CSS pre- or post-processors (like Sass or PostCSS) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS

Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as QUnit, Mocha, Jest or Cypress

Functional knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.

A desire to work closely with others to deliver quality software and solve problems.

Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools – Webpack, Rollup, Ember CLI, etc

Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.

Experience mentoring and supporting team members with empathy & professionalism.

Bonus points:

Hands on experience or familiarity with Ember.

Knowledge of and experience with product/technical teams and cybersecurity.

Experience in remote-first environments and global teams.

Prior experience building enterprise software as a service

Familiarity with UI testing and validation.
