If you like helping people, Global Operations is for you.Meta is looking for a Technology Program Manager to join our Technology Enablement team. STAR is a global team, which supports and enables the success of functional partners in Scaled Operations (SO) and Global Operations (GO) by offering close stakeholder collaboration, thought partnership, effective communication, and program excellence. This experienced and entrepreneurial Technology Program Manager will help build out best-in-class project capabilities for SO. The Technology Program Manager will be responsible for leading the execution and activation of numerous product initiatives and will work with various stakeholders from GO, Engineering, Process, Vendor and more.

Technology Program Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work with business and operational teams to define end to end system requirements and architecture
  • Define the project scope, translate them into implementable requirements, drive implementation with Engineering and launch of the technology solution
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
  • Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Meta’s community support processes, products and policies. Drive system design discussions in the ecosystem
  • Drive build vs buy decisions, and integrations with third party software
  • Track and analyze key operational metrics to drive optimization efforts
  • Use problem solving to resolve large and complex business problems
  • Work with cross-functional partners from engineering to business to vendors, to improve the support experience on our existing suite of products. Partner with teams to develop scalable solutions to support Meta’s global outsourcing base
  • Work with technical and non-technical teams to set milestones, communicate project status, and identify/address potential setbacks
  • Manage cross-functional programs covering a range of products across all lines of the business
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experienced influencer and communicator
  • 6 + years of experience in technology program management, and/or systems design, SDLC experience
  • Knowledge of software development processes and best practices
  • Experience with project and issue tracking systems
  • Strategic thinker with great analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working on development infrastructure and tools
  • Experience in fostering cross-functional working relationships in an organization. Includes working with and communicating with multiple partner teams and cross-functional partners [with and without technology experience]
  • Experience in launching technical programs from inception to delivery
  • Experience working with cross functional stakeholders across different time zones
  • Track record of operating autonomously across multiple teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building solutions on the Cloud, integrating solutions and systems to build a complete solution
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Experience in Cloud architecture (e.g. AWS) and/or IT Technical work experience
  • Experience working in a technology company or technology strategy consulting firms
