Joining Collibra’s Global Event Marketing team:

Collibra is looking for a talented Trade Show and Event Planner, adept at managing and executing to help scale Collibra’s major events. Reporting to the Senior Global Event Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with members of Global Events, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales teams to plan and program manage a portfolio of events that bring our brand to life and drive the optimization of our investments.    

Trade Show and Event Planners at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Senior Global Event Marketing Manager in developing event strategy for in-person and virtual events; serving as a consultant to the team by bringing forward innovative event ideas and ensuring goals are met
  • Planning, managing and executing Collibra’s major trade show participation and major marketing events that drive demand generation activity with outstanding, measurable results
  • Creating engagement strategies with input from business owners that align with Collibra’s GTM sales strategy 
  • End-to-end program management – including managing budgets, internal/external stakeholders, marketing and creative teams, event technology, shipping, booth builds, booth traffic, engagement activities and timelines – that deliver results
  • Overseeing sponsorship fulfillment programs to ensure that all sponsorship benefits are maximized
  • Driving lead followup plans, and track/report on ROI and metrics for each event to optimize program effectiveness
  • Traveling to events for multiple program days, working the expo floor, and have an active role in booth staffing as needed

You Have:

  • 5+ years progressive experience in producing trade shows or managing customer-facing marketing events 
  • Proven end-to-end project management experience from goal setting to post-event follow up  
  • Experience managing budgets and event contracts
  • Proficient in Asana – or eager to learn!

Reporting to Collibra’s Senior Manager of Global Events, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will learn about Collibra, our customers, our prospects, our event portfolio and be introduced to the right people
  • Within your second month, you will partner with key stakeholders to contribute to project plans aligned with our tier 1 event marketing strategy
  • Within your third month, you will be executing work streams and project plans
