Wonolo is looking for a UX Researcher to join our Product Design team! In this role you’ll partner with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to identify, prioritize, plan and executive high-impact research studies. You are metrics-minded and utilize diverse research methodologies to uncover deep insights to drive the product development process for the worker experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and execute research using the right methodologies for the right questions in a highly collaborative environment, working with business stakeholders, product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers
  • Engage with research participants on the business-side, online and offline, including onsite visits to warehouses to interact directly with our users
  • Prioritize research needs and approaches across multiple work streams to define the right projects, scale, scope, and timing
  • Propose and improve research operations processes, tools and practices
  • Generate actionable insights that shape how product teams think about both long-term strategy and short-term tactics
  • Communicate insights in creative and compelling ways to internal stakeholders and company-wide
  • Give feedback in design critiques, coach the team through design and UX decisions, make strategic decisions with your peers in Product and Engineering
  • Enable your peers to learn and apply research skills by building research programs and processes to empower them to assist and conduct tactical research

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience conducting research in applied research settings
  • Experience researching products in either B2B or B2C environments
  • Expert in qualitative research methods
  • Effectively interpret, organize, and communicate insights from experiment and survey data
  • Well-versed in usability testing, research operations and building user personas
  • You demonstrate a commitment to advancing representation and inclusion

Preferred:

  • MA/MS/PhD in human behavior-related fields (Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Information Science, Economics, Political Science, etc.)
  • Experience working with tools such as Dovetail and User Interviews
