Recur is seeking a VP of People to join its team full time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will work with some of the largest brands in the world on innovative, creative projects in the nascent and growing NFT space.
What you will do at RECUR
Build out Recur’s People team to include dedicated groups focused on talent acquisition and internal employee-facing functions (e.g. compensation, performance reviews, career development, goal alignment).
Develop Recur’s approach to hiring, with an emphasis on rigorous candidate assessment and elevating our brand as an employer.
Implement Recur’s People systems, including onboarding and programs that enable professional growth and fulfillment for all employees.
Own all aspects of People operations including policy writing and implementation, employee matters, compensation and rewards, payroll and benefits, learning and development, talent acquisition, and employee experience.
Work closely with leadership on the People-related aspects of the business and help find opportunities for Recur’s growth.
Create procedures and systems to ensure Recur is optimized for seamless remote onboarding.
Help leadership shape its vision and ensure Recur has a strong set of values, principles, and culture shared amongst team members.
Evaluate and improve upon all People processes and metrics, with a consistent focus on identifying opportunities to streamline and automate existing processes.
What you bring to RECUR
7+ years of experience leading People, Talent, and HR functions at high-growth technology companies.
Have led the People function at the ground level in a rapidly scaling business.
Experience leading and building a distributed team.
Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional employment laws, regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
A focus on automating and streamlining the workflows of the People, Talent, and HR functions.
Broad technical People expertise and experience building and managing a full suite of People team software and processes, including Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll, and Compensation & Benefits.
Experience building organizational design systems in a multi-function business with both B2B and B2C components.
Experience working in technical and creative industries, including video games, social media, and enterprise software is preferred.
